The quality of service is a particularly important factor to full-service restaurants because they are typically more expensive and slower than quick-service restaurants. Many factors go into the overall quality of service at a restaurant, such as how positively customers feel about each member of the restaurant staff they interact with. Some customers may be more concerned with the social interactions with the waitstaff, while other customers are more focused on how quickly dishes are removed and glasses are refilled. The relative importance of these different factors often depends on the style of restaurant and the outlook of a particular customer.

You can’t just go through the motions and expect marketing to be effective.

Advertising can be effective, but like all marketing activities it must be applied in the right way. There are numerous ways, from promotions, contents, sweepstakes, and giveaways—to entice your guests to participate on your Social Media while they’re visiting your restaurant. Promoting within your restaurant makes customers aware of your promotions immediately and makes them much more likely to engage in the promotion, and also, visit your Social Media profiles later. This immediate awareness is a great thing to use to your advantage as a restaurant, and promoting the existence of your social media will bring a great deal of awareness to it while placing you in a modern, with-the-times brand position. Just be sure you are complying with Facebook’s rules and terms and conditions for promoting. You can no longer promote or enter a contest by posting on the Facebook wall or through the liking of a post or page. You can still however have people formally enter the contest, say, by signing and filling out a form while they are at the table or paying their bill.

Stop spending money on restaurant marketing that doesn’t work.

The right marketing does work. The wrong doesn’t. It’s as simple as that.
Keep yourself up to date on current statistics, trends, facts and figures that can help you analyze your restaurant marketing plan. Should you make any tweaks to how you market your restaurant? Should you position your restaurant differently?

You must use different restaurant marketing tactics to have a flow of new customers, keep customers coming back and get more from your existing customers.

Build your brand. Your brand is your reputation and it represents the general expectation of a customer when they enter your establishment. In order to build your brand, you must solidify your reputation. Deliver on your promises; meet and surpass the expectations of your customers consistently. Quality, impressive customer service is the best way to build your brand.

Customer Loyalty.

By implementing the right strategies at your business, you should be able to draw customers back to your restaurant again and again. The important thing is paying strong attention to what appears to be working and what isn’t. Keep your prices as reasonable as possible. Customers are focused on value and having a simple, positive experience. The job isn’t always easy, but in the long run, it will be worthwhile.

Whatever you decide, it should be something that your customers would want to experience, and it should also be offered for a limited time. Once you offer something indefinitely, it often loses its buzz. However, if you deliver great service and food, customers will keep returning long after the hyped event is over.
